I did a shoot with Everlast House of Pain last weekend…Fish former drummer of the legendary Fishbone is out playing drums with him. Images below
I did a shoot a few weeks back with the Bad Rabbits, super nice dudes — Here’s a link to the feature and a few images from the shoot.
I was in NYC this past weekend, shooting Fishbone and the amazing Wallace Roney…
Here’s some footage from our shoot on 5th Ave in NYC on 11.13.11…I asked him to play “So What” by Miles Davis, which was absolutely amazing, shooting him while he played for me, I loved my job that day…NYC residents also got a free 45 minute treat that afternoon…below are a few videos from the shoot and images.
It was great to see Fishbone, I haven’t done a shoot with them since 2007…getting Angelo Moore to focus for more then a few seconds is challenging. A.D.D is a muh’fucka, lol…HR from the Bad Brains was @ the Brooklyn bowl that night, and played “Sunless Saturday”, “Give it Up” and “Flutter Butter” with the band, it was truly awesome…It was also Dirty Walt’s B-Day, and the entire venue sang him “Happy Birthday”…good times!
Here’s a link to the MURS feature on URB.
I’ll be in NYC this weekend shooting a few clients and the Mighty Fishbone
I had a few shoots in B-Lo yesterday, the first was with hardcore legends Agnostic Front. Roger and Vinnie are a freegin’ riot…COM-EDY! – Vinnie is a sweetheart, the bella faccia, fuhgedaboutit, lol
After I wrapped with Roger and Vinnie I had to do a quick shoot with MURS…I caught some of his live set, he had this amazing vocalist out with him on this run, super sexy, kinda had this Debbie Harry vibe going on (late 70’s, when she was still hot) MURS new album is killin’ check it out if you haven’t already…
My Victor Wooten feature has been published. I did my shoot with Vic earlier this year, he’s one of the most humble, chill cats I’ve met in the music industry, hands down.
I’m shooting Agnostic Front next week for a client, super stoked.
I had a shoot a few weeks back with Escape the Fate for one of my clients. Super nice guys…
Last weekend I did a shoot with one of my favorite sax players on the globe, Kenny Garrett. Kenny’s back to playing with an acoustic Quartet, they killed it, on drums he has Marcus from The Yellowjackets….on piano, Benito Gonzalez, check him out, he’s a beast…
Here’s the Gary Clark Jr feature I put together for OKP…
I’ve been vinyl binging lately, giving my checking account a workout, lol…
My Robert Glasper shoot was done in February…four magazines, three writers and 7 months later it is so gratifying to see this come to fruition finally – Props to the dopest webzine on the planet OKP, and ?uestlove from The Roots crew for paying the bills and giving muh’fuckas an outlet – Hugs to Fredara Mareva for blessing this feature with your words and talent, I look forward to working with you more in the future – Now, back to work! lol
Hurricane Irene you silly bitch, she completely blew my groove last weekend. I had big things planned in NYC and sadly didn’t make it, no worries though, nothing that can’t be re-scheduled. I had a chance to shoot Buddy Guy and BB-King friday, Buddy Guy stole the show…posted a few live pics from that…
